A Visit to the Offices of Atlanta Interior Designers Kandrac & Kole

Apr 02 2016 · 0 comments · Behind the Design, Posh Peek, Travel, Video ·0

I’ve always loved being an Interior Designer.  Little did I know when I started Posh Palettes, my Interior Design blog, all of the wonderful opportunities that would present themselves.  One (well actually, two) of the most exciting results of writing this blog has been being invited to attend BlogTour Modenus ~ first to Italy, then to Las Vegas.  Veronika and her team organized amazing trips and we took in endless inspiration from both our travels and exhibits and events featuring top notch vendors in the design field.  However I think the greatest gift I took away from BlogTour was the friendships that were forged walking the ancient streets of Venice & Milan.  Two of my best (and most talented) friends from BlogTour are Joann Kandrac and Kelly Kole of Kandrac & Kole Interiors.

This Atlanta area dynamic duo is accomplished and generous, talented and beautiful.  Not only that, they have the most incredible offices in a renovated home in Kennesaw, Georgia.  After we all attended this year’s Design Blogger’s Conference in Atlanta in early March, I was fortunate to spend two more days enjoying Joann & Kelly’s unforgettable Southern hospitality.  Not only that, I toured their to-die-for offices and am thrilled to share the tour with my readers!

Part 1 of the tour (please note, this was filmed live…):

Tiny crystals in the artwork?  Those amazing renderings of client spaces?  I think you can see why I kept repeating the word “impressive” over and over!

Part 2 of the tour:

Love, love the colors in that stairwell painting by Erin Gregory ~ I told you Joann & Kelly have an eye for terrific art!

Part 3 of the tour ~ please excuse the odd thumbnail image and small size, still working on perfecting my video skills 🙂 Click on the image to view, not sure why this clip is being difficult…

Those trays for organizing client projects?  I just may have to steal that idea ~ love it!

I adored Kelly & Joann before I visited their offices, but after seeing them both “in action”, I am beyond impressed!  It’s easy to see why their clients adore them and their designs.  Everything about Kandrac & Kole is top notch, most especially the ladies themselves.  From their work in Guatemala (you can read more about my trips with them here and help support their 2016 trip here) to their gracious hearts, it is a true honor to call them both my friends.

Me, Joann, & Kelly at Design Bloggers Conference 2016

While touring their offices, Kelly & Joann remarked to me that one of their recent clients told them this when describing the feel she wanted for her soon to be re-designed space, “I want to come home and feel like I’m being hugged,”  “We are so good at that!,” replied Joann & Kelly.  I can attest that yes, they truly are!

Thank you for the hugs, the laughs, and the great times together!

Be sure to take a peek at  Kandrac & Kole’s project portfolio for a look at some of their amazing projects!

xo,

Pamela
