I have one final post to share with you from the Brizo sponsored Blogger 19 Reunion Trip to Memphis. In conjunction with our visit to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, we also toured The Target House. The Target House in Memphis works with St. Jude’s to offer housing for young patients and their families who are undergoing treatment for more than 3 months.

While I shared a few of my picks for Summer Reading last week, an upcoming trip has me seeking out a few more books. What better place to find Summer Reading books than a local, independent bookstore? This week’s Posh Pinterest board is from Porter Square Books in Cambridge, Hot Summer Reads.

South Shore Interior Designer: Oceanside Penthouse Project
Jul 30 2013 · 6 comments · My Designs ·1
I’m so excited to be able to share with you a new interior design project that I am working on. The setting is a stunning oceanside penthouse space with incredible views. My client is a gentleman whose taste is both masculine and sophisticated. He works in the hotel industry and has owned quite a few homes which has certainly influenced his sense of style. It has been a delight to collaborate with him.
While the space is gorgeous, it is not without challenges. For example, vaulted ceilings and large expanses of windows are beautiful, but how to effectively incorporate them into a posh interior design? Today I’m sharing the preview (before) photos of the space and you’ll see what I mean…

As part of the Brizo sponsored Blogger19 Reunion trip to Memphis, our entire group was treated to a behind the scenes look at what goes into creating the products of the Brizo brand. We spent an insightful day learning about research and development, touring the Delta factory where the Brizo line of products are made, and getting a first look at some of the amazing new Brizo products.

Last week, I was part of a select group of interior designers that had the honor of going to Memphis, TN as a guest of Brizo. As most of you know, Brizo is a luxury line of artful and highly functional faucets and accessories for the kitchen and bath.

There are so many reasons I’ve fallen head over heels in love with Brizo and their products lines, but mostly it is because of the people and their company philosophy. Brizo is truly “a brand that dreams” and believes “the power of dreams is without limits”.

The Summer season can be short here in New England, as such I make a point to do as much al fresco entertaining as possible. Whether a dinner party or dance soiree (or both!), I make the most of my 650 square foot ocean view deck. Of course any outdoor space can be transformed into an entertaining oasis ~ take it from me.
Culled from over 20 years of Interior Design experience and even longer as a party hostess, here are my Top Five Tips for Decorating Your Deck (or patio, or terrace…) for Posh Summer Entertaining!
Deneen McQueen-Chippari & the Whole Soul Wellness Kitchen

Yesterday I introduced you to my friend Deneen.
As I mentioned, Deneen is a certified Holistic Health Coach. Over the last couple of years she has worked enthusiastically first toward her certification and now building her business. Previously I had known Deneen “only” as a dance instructor, a Cabaret star, an outstanding mother and wife and a devoted friend. A few weeks ago however, I had the privilege of seeing Deneen in action as a Health Coach and Instructor at one of her Lunch and Learn programs.
No surprise, she was a star!…

The weather has also been perfect for lightening up my food choices ~ this is the time of year I crave salads, fresh fruit and cold dishes. My friend Deneen has a wonderful Pinterest board featuring lots of healthy & delicious recipes that is this week’s Posh Pinterest board: Recipes. As a certified Holistic Health Coach, Deneen knows what she’s talking about when it comes to food and how it affects our overall health! Here are a few of my favorite pins from Deneen’s Recipes board…
Guatemala Girl

“Only as high as I reach can I grow,
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,
Only as much as I dream can I be.”
It seems as though the children of Guatemala have truly caught my heart. Weeks after my return, I am still seeing their sweet faces in my dreams.
