The right suitcase is key! We’ll be porting our own luggage at times and maneuverability is so important ~ as is having a bag you can easily spot on the baggage carousel! The American Tourister Colora 30″ Spinner certainly fits the bill:

When placing your travel containers inside your suitcase, the last thing you want is leakage. I love these Nalgene LeakProof Bottles from the Container Store for all of my various “products” (thank you to my friend and organizing guru, Tina for this recommendation!):

Flying internationally usually means a flight of 6+ hours, my flight from the US to Milan is over 8 hours. One of my must-haves for the flight is a Pashmina. Soft, colorful and versatile, these beauties can be used as a scarf, a wrap, a lap blanket, or even a pillow:

Once BlogTour begins, we will be doing a lot of walking. Comfortable, chic shoes are a must! I love the Quinn Ballet flat by Tory Burch ~ and the color? Carnival and Gold, perfect!
