Caught My Eye, Vol. 52

I can’t believe that Em’s wedding weekend is finally upon us!  We’ve arrived in Newport, RI safe and sound and the festivities are underway.  I did want to pop in and share a few of the things that Caught My Eye this week ~ after all it was Derby Day and the Met Ball, how can I resist?

1. At the Met Gala, Amal Clooney looked ravishing in red ~ and having George Clooney as an accessory doesn’t hurt!
2. Also in red (lace), Rose Byrne’s gown featured interesting texture along with a lovely design
3. Rihanna’s gown at the Met Gala did indeed catch my eye…whether for it’s amazingness or it’s meme-ability, I’ll leave that to you to decide…
4. Derby Day hats are so fun.  Love the interpretation of a rose on this hat ~ after all, it is the Run for the Roses!
5. This hat reminded me of a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture!
6. Love the panache of this hat and the wearer’s wonderful smile!

Nothing more to do now than enjoy Emily and Nick’s amazing wedding!  Wishing you a weekend full of love and happiness (and hopefully no rain!)
