A Poem & A Painting: Finnegan

So happy I can finally post this Christmas gift painting featuring my furry nephew, Finnegan.  Finnegan belongs to my sister Kate and her husband Tim but he has stolen all of our hearts since he entered our lives about a year ago.

Puppy Love

You have a cute little nose
And happy wagging tail
You lick me when I come home
You bark because there’s mail
You sleep in my bed
And think my shoe is a toy
Sweet little puppy
You fill me with joy
Oh, little puppy
So loyal and true
I just want you to know
How much I love you !

Isn’t he such a teddy bear? To my delight they hung the painting over their mantle immediately, I think they like it~ Christmas joy!
