Daisy’s Stocking

Jan 02 2017 · 8 comments · Holiday, Personal ·1

Before wrapping up the holiday season completely, I wanted to share a few peeks at a very special gift that I created for a very, very special little girl: my granddaughter Daisy.

Inspired by a dear friend, I decided that I wanted to make a Christmas stocking for Daisy.  I had an absolute ball collecting all the bits and baubles to adorn the outside.  I went with a monochromatic color scheme, enhanced with pops of color and sparkle ~ would you expect any different? 🙂

If you look closely you can see that there are hearts, snowflakes, and of course, daisies.  I also used a few sentimental items including bits of lace from my daughter Emily’s wedding dress.

I topped it off with a faux fur cuff ~ Daisy will definitely know this is something her Mamie created for her!

Daisy’s stocking may have ended up a bit bigger than I originally planned but  filling a stocking for your angel baby granddaughter is a joyful task!  Of course the best part of creating this stocking was being with Daisy to share the miracle of her first Christmas and all the love that surrounds her ~

Thank you for all your support in 2016, it was a truly unforgettable year!  I am looking forward to so many exciting things in 2017, including several professional projects and adventures that I’ll be sharing here ~ stay tuned!

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and blessed New Year!

xo,

Pamela
