BlogTour Vegas: The Wonderful World of Walker Zanger

Feb 18 2015 · 0 comments · BlogTour Vegas, Design Elements ·0

With a proud tradition rooted in the ancient quarries of Europe and spanning to the present day Central Mexican Highlands where craftsmen finish terra cotta tile by hand,  Walker Zanger is one of the world’s most respected luxury stone and tile companies. Inspired by architecture, art, fashion and nature, Walker Zanger offers their clients prized marble and stone from quarries throughout the world, each individually selected and evaluated by their experienced stone masters.

While attending the KBIS show with BlogTour Vegas, we visited the Walker Zanger booth and saw their offerings in person, and I must say, their tiles are stunning.

This 60 year old company prides itself on the “human artistry” involved in creating their products whether they originate in Italy, France or a ceramic studio in Morocco. No detail is overlooked ~ for example, Tunisian artisans work with hand-fitted mosaics and etch design into solid stone and then gild them with gold and silver leaf.  The quality, beauty, and originality of Walker Zanger products shines through with each tile.

Walker Zanger believes that “human connection is the bedrock of our company”.  There are families that have worked the quarries together, father and son, for years and the knowledge of how to find the perfect stone, slab and create the finest tiles is passed down from generation to generation.

The designs and mosaics may be rooted in history but the Walker Zanger products are fresh, modern and beautiful. Walker Zanger‘s products range from traditional to modern to eclectic, with a tile to suit every taste and design.
